I really like Green Day. Especially their album that named "American Idiot".
I basically love all the songs in that album.
ALL of them.
From American Idiot to Whatsername.
I love the way they make the end of one song connected to the beginning of another song.
I love how they manage to find the perfect words and arrange it beautifully.
I love how they put straightforward words eventhough it is a lil bit rude and should not be spoken.
I love how their lyrcis can be so deep and fun at the same time.
**
"Summer has come and passed. The innocent can never last. Wake me up when September ends"
But among all of them, Wake Me Up When September Ends is one of my all-time favorite songs.
It is sweet and sad.

Jesus Of Suburbia is pretty damn cool too.
It is a 5-part song that last over 9 minutes. Yeah, that long.
Few of my favorite parts:
"And there's nothing wrong with me. This is how I'm supposed to be. In a land of make believe. That don't believe in me"
"Everyone is so full of sh*t. Born and raised by hypocrites. Hearts recycled but never saved. From the cradle always to the grave. We are the kids of war and peace"
And my favorite line..
"To live and not to breathe. Is to die In tragedy. To run, to run away. To find what you believe"
**
And don't forget Boulevard of Broken Dreams! And Holiday and so on and so on...
Maybe for some of you the album sounds dark and lame.
But to me its effin awesome!
It speaks the truth,
It is straightforward,
It is Green Day.
Eventhough they already produced another album and many other great songs but American Idiot stole my heart. From the very start.
Keep reading my life catalog,
Medha
